State and Municipal Tax Incentives

The financial viability of a real estate development project often depends on establishing property tax liability projections, and then utilizing a wide array of state and municipal government tax-incentive packages—from grant programs to bond financings—to optimize the project’s tax position. Tax Appeals

We have forged deep and long-standing relationships with key public officials and stakeholders at New Jersey’s state, county and local levels. Currently, we serve as special counsel to the New Jersey Association of Municipal Assessors and the League of Municipalities, as well as represent the State of New Jersey in its oversight and management of Atlantic City. We also have strong ties with municipal tax assessors across the state; county boards of taxation; and a range of state agencies, including the Department of Community Affairs (DCA), the Local Finance Board, and a succession of governors and their representatives.
