Tara Lotito helps families prepare for life’s inevitabilities by designing and implementing estate plans that reflect her clients’ priorities and provide peace of mind. Her practice concentrates on developing sophisticated estate, succession, gift and multi-generational planning strategies for middle- to high-net-worth individuals, including owners of closely-held businesses, corporate executives and retirees, as well as families with the goal of protecting their wealth from superfluous taxes, ill-equipped beneficiaries, divorce, creditors and others’ mismanagement.
Tara brings more than 15 years of experience preparing wills, grantor trusts, generation-skipping trusts, life insurance trusts, living trusts and integrating retirement planning into clients’ estate plans. She is regularly called upon for guidance through all aspects of estate and trust administration – including probate; marshalling of estate assets; obtaining asset valuations; the preparation of inventories and accountings; and the preparation of Federal and New Jersey Estate Tax Returns, New Jersey Inheritance Tax Returns and related audit proceedings.
Tara earned her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
