Overview

Emily B. Brown practices in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, with a concentration in trademark prosecution.

Prior to joining CSG Law, Emily served as trademark counsel for a multinational conglomerate corporation, where she managed their global trademark portfolio including the development and implementation of cost-effective national and global clearance and prosecution strategies. In this role, Emily developed naming strategies and brand policies, counseled on copyright and domain name issues, drafted, and negotiated contracts and conducted IP due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures. Emily previously served as an associate at a global law firm where she focused on trademark matters. She gained significant experience in performing trademark clearance and prosecution before the USPTO and trademark opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Emily received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her B.A., in American Studies and Computer Applications, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
