Carl Levy, of counsel to the firm, practices in the fields of estate planning and administration, corporation law, taxation and transactional law.

As part of the Trusts & Estates Group, Carl prepares various Chancery Court applications for special minor’s trusts, for advice and direction from the court on various topics, and for modification of trust provisions. Such applications include establishing trusts for minors who have received awards that extend beyond age 18. These applications may also involve disputes between income beneficiaries and remaindermen regarding the nature of investments and the allocation of income.

Carl also examines the tax issues that apply to the various estate planning and exiting techniques. He is also involved in tax issues and administrative representation with regard to estate administration, pension issues and transactions.

Carl received his J.D., graduating with honors, from Rutgers Law School; his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Rutgers College; and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University.
