Ashley Davidow

Ashley Davidow is counsel in the CSG Law Litigation Group, where she represents businesses, public entities, and individuals in complex litigation, internal investigations, and government enforcement matters. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience as a Deputy Attorney General, Ashley focuses her practice on litigation, white collar defense, internal investigations, and government counseling for clients confronting legal, regulatory, and operational risks.

Ashley advises clients through all phases of disputes and investigations, from early fact development and risk assessment through trial, appeal, and resolution. Clients value her ability to quickly master complex factual records, identify practical solutions, and guide them through challenging matters with clarity and confidence combined with practical judgment and strategic advocacy.

Trial and Litigation Experience

Ashley brings substantial courtroom and trial experience to her practice. Prior to joining CSG Law, she served for nearly eight years as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where she represented the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency in high-volume and highly sensitive litigation. She managed all aspects of litigation and trial preparation, including witness development, expert coordination, evidentiary issues, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy. Her extensive trial experience enables her to efficiently assess risk, develop litigation strategy, and guide clients through challenging disputes.

Government Counseling and Investigations

Ashley has worked closely with agency leadership, government officials, law enforcement personnel, investigators, and subject matter experts in addressing complex legal and factual issues. Drawing on that experience, she advises public entities, government officials, and private organizations on litigation risk, internal investigations, regulatory matters, and allegations of misconduct.

Her investigative background includes witness interviews, credibility assessments, fact development, and the evaluation of sensitive allegations. Whether conducting investigations, defending litigation, or responding to government scrutiny, Ashley helps clients navigate challenging situations with sound judgment and practical solutions.

Appellate Advocacy

Ashley also has significant appellate experience. As a Deputy Attorney General, she regularly briefed and argued matters before the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, strengthening the analytical and advocacy skills she now brings to complex litigation and appeals.

Professional Background

Following law school, Ashley served as law clerk to the Honorable Gary D. Wodlinger, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. During law school, she interned with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Appellate Unit.

Ashley earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she served as Chairman of the Hunter Moot Court Board. She received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Rutgers University and was selected as an Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associate.
