April gained significant experience in the field during her time as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sallyanne Floria, A.J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage – where she assisted the assignment judge in managing civil, family and criminal court matters, and reviewed all motions, researched legal issues and drafted bench memoranda for pre-trial motions.

April earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as the Symposium Editor and Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. She received her B.A., in Criminology and Spanish, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
