New Jersey State Bar Association 2026 Annual Meeting & Convention: Show Me the Money – How NIL and the Portal Have Changed the Game
On May 14, from 10:30 – 11:45 am, the Honorable Patricia K. Costello, A.J.S.C (retired), a Member in the CSG Law Litigation Group, will serve as a moderator at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) 2026 Annual Meeting & Convention. Ms. Costello will be joined by Abigail J. Remore, a Member with the CSG Law Trademark & Copyrights Group, and Emily B. Brown, Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, for the panel, “Show Me the Money – How NIL and the Portal Have Changed the Game.” Ms. Costello, Ms. Remore, and Ms. Brown will explore topics such as deep fakes and how they affect NIL, schools suing players who breach contracts, transfer portal issues, common topics in NIL deal negotiation, and legislation updates in the FTC.
