National Association of Small Business Development Centers: Cybersecurity for Small Businesses
Michelle A. Schaap, Chair of the CSG Law Tech, Privacy and Data Innovations Group, presented a webinar, “Cybersecurity for Small Businesses,” for the National Association of Small Business Development Centers at Rutgers-Newark. This webinar provided business owners and their management teams with cybersecurity awareness, with an end goal of understanding the importance of implementing a consistent, and continuously improving, cybersecurity program for their organization. Ms. Schaap addressed how to prevent cyber criminals from compromising the integrity of business-critical assets and information on a daily basis and provided best practices and helpful tips to educate end-users who access their company’s information systems.
