Michael Spinello Appointed to NJSBA Environmental Law Section’s Board of Directors
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is pleased to announce that Michael Spinello, Counsel in the firm’s Environmental Group, was appointed to the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Environmental Law Section’s Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term at the recent Environmental Law Forum.
The NJSBA’s Environmental Law Section promotes networking, professional development and resources for attorneys who practice environmental law in the Garden State.
Michael focuses his practice on a wide range of environmental regulatory, permitting, licensing, litigation, insurance coverage and transactional matters. He is proficient in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, drafting discovery requests and responses, managing large scale document reviews and productions, motion practice and trial preparation. Michael has also served as a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General for the Environmental Enforcement and Environmental Justice Section where he assisted the Department of Environmental Protection in recovering unpaid costs for the remediation of contaminated sites and enforced other environmental regulations.
