CSG Law Welcomes Fall 2023 Class of Incoming Associates

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”) is pleased to announce the arrival of its Fall 2023 class of Associates. All of the members of this year’s class have served as summer associates at the firm or as judicial law clerks.

Joining the firm are:

Fatin A. Assaf (Family Law) joins CSG Law after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Lorraine M. Augostini, J.S.C. with the Sussex County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. In law school, she served as the Executive Articles Editor for Family Law Quarterly, and as a teaching assistant for criminal law. Fatin interned with the New York State Supreme Court and with the Honorable Radames Velazquez, P.J.F.P. with the Hudson County Family Court. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School, and her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees from Montclair State University.

Adrian C. Bernard (Litigation Group) joins CSG Law after serving as a summer associate at the firm. He previously interned at a Philadelphia-based law firm, and, before then, he served as a Multifamily Analyst at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Financing Agency. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.A. with honors at the University of Toronto.

Ann Clogan (Tax Group) joins after serving as a summer associate at the firm. During her time as a law student she was a member of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, served as Secretary of the Evening Law Student Association, and as an Honor Board Presenter from 2020-2021. She previously interned at a Texas based law firm and a Maryland based law firm. She earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, her M.A. from the University of Arizona, and her B.A from Penn State University.

Marissa L. Groenendaal (Litigation Group) joins CSG Law after serving as a summer associate at the firm. Marissa earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas. She previously interned and externed for the U.S. District Courts, and, before then, at a county prosecutor’s office in New Jersey.

Jordan Rosario (Trademarks and Copyrights Group) joins CSG Law after serving as a summer associate at the firm. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.A. in Psychology from Binghamton University. While in law school, Jordan served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal and as the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Association of Latin-American Law Students. Jordan is fluent in Spanish.

Thomas A. Rowland (Litigation Group) clerked for the Honorable Heidi W. Currier, P.J.A.D. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division before joining CSG Law. He also served as a legal extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, and as a summer associate at CSG Law. As an undergraduate, he was a congressional intern for U.S. Rep. Scott Rigell (VA-02) and U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11). Thomas earned his J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. at George Washington University. At Seton Hall, he served as Editor-In-Chief of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal.
