CSG Law Named as 2026 Law360 Regional Powerhouse for New Jersey

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is pleased to announce the firm has again been named one of Law360’s Regional Powerhouses for New Jersey, marking its fourth appearance on this list in the last five years.

The firm was recognized for its success on a number of high-profile real estate, government, white collar defense and litigation matters, in addition to the firm’s “steady, strategic growth” over the past decade and its ongoing commitment to elevating women into leadership roles.

“We’ve gotten ourselves to a place where 66% of our practice group leaders are women,” said Managing Member Marie Mathews. “We filled nine of those roles with women last year. Some really great people, like Caroline Murphy, who is now running our immigration practice. We have Rebecca Moll Freed running our government and regulatory law group. Danielle Corcione is our litigation department chair.”

CSG Law’s recent highlights include:

  • Serving as lead counsel to Netflix in connection with the company’s venture to construct a state-of-the-art production facility that will span 292 acres on the former Fort Monmouth US Army Base.
  • Represented Maher Terminals in its landmark 33-year lease extension with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Maher, one of the largest marine container terminal operators in North America and an economic powerhouse in the Garden State, also relies on CSG Law for legal counsel in such areas as litigation defense, employment and labor advisory services, maritime and immigration matters, and ever-critical cybersecurity guidance.
  • Representing Chief Vincent Mann and the current council members governing the Ramapough Lenape Nation in a Tribal Governance Suit. The plaintiffs—former tribal officials—filed suit seeking to invalidate actions taken by the Nation’s governing body, reinstate prior leadership, and obtain declaratory and injunctive relief concerning tribal governance decisions. The court dismissed the governance-based claim, concluding that it could not adjudicate disputes requiring it to determine who lawfully governs a tribal nation or whether internal tribal actions were valid. The Appellate Division later affirmed the trial court’s decision, finding no error in the dismissal of the governance claim.
  • Successfully represented the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, which unanimously reversed a lower court decision that found the entity lacked the authority to use project labor agreements on public construction projects.
  • Represented William Tambussi, Esq., a well-respected New Jersey attorney who was pursued by state prosecutors in a racketeering case brought forward by the New Jersey Attorney General against George Norcross and others. In a precedential decision, the Appellate Division held that the state’s indictment failed to allege any criminal conduct against Tambussi.
