CSG Law Honored by NJBIZ with Inaugural Empowering Women Award

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”) is pleased to announce it was recognized this week for its efforts in elevating women in the workplace at NJBIZ’s inaugural Empowering Women award ceremony.

This acknowledgement is the latest recognition of the achievements of CSG Law’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and Women’s Initiative. Earlier this year, the firm was again named to Bloomberg Law’s DEI Framework, which provides a platform for standardizing law firm diversity metrics and recognizes firms for distinguished performance, and also received recognition at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s Annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards.

“It is time to honor those organizations that invest in, elevate and support women leaders,” Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher and managing director, said in the announcement earlier this summer. “Women leaders can only succeed with the support of the organizations they work for and with.”

NJBIZ recognized more than 50 companies and organizations for advancing women in the workplace and community. To be eligible, companies must have 50% or more than 100 staff working in New Jersey. Honorees were chosen based on their commitment to some or all of the following:

  • Have a track record of recruiting, hiring and promoting women.
  • Offer a mentoring program for women.
  • Work toward systemic change in society to combat inequality.
  • Place women on the board or in the C-suite.
  • Contribute to advancing the cause of women through outside philanthropic or community endeavors.
  • Support programs that assist marginalized women.
  • Provide scholarship assistance to women.

CSG Law was honored in person on August 1 at a celebration at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Somerset.
