CSG Law Attorneys Honored Among the New Jersey Law Journal’s Professional Excellence Award Recipients
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”) is pleased to announce that four of the Firm’s attorneys have been recognized for their efforts by the New Jersey Law Journal this year in the publication’s annual awards, in addition to the Firm being named a finalist in the category of Law Firm of the Year.
The Honorable Joseph “Drew” Dickson, U.S.M.J. (retired) earned the Unsung Heroes award, and Member Abigail J. Remore and Counsel Chelsea P. Jasnoff were both named to New Leaders of the Bar. Rhonda Carniol, Chair of the Tech, Privacy and Data Innovations Group, is a finalist in the category of Dealmaker of the Year.
Drew, a former Federal Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, focuses his practice on bringing closure to disputes in a timely, efficient and discrete manner through mediation and arbitration. Drew was recognized for his efforts in expanding the Firm’s pro bono program.
Abby handles a wide range of intellectual property matters, including litigation, enforcement, counseling, licensing and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications as part of her practice. Abby recently argued an appeal before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial & Appeal Board on behalf of singer and rapper, Lizzo, resulting in a precedential decision holding that Lizzo’s “100% That Bitch” is protectable as a trademark.
Chelsea is a litigator focusing on complex commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, contract matters, business torts and commercial real estate disputes. She’s been an integral part of the team on a number of significant wins.
Rhonda helped launch the new Tech, Privacy and Data Innovations Group earlier this year, which represents innovators, investors, and Fortune 500 companies, startups and emerging entities in the technology, data, advertising, and healthcare space.
Honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on September 13 at the Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick. The winners of Attorney of the Year, Law Firm of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Dealmaker of the Year and Litigation Department of the Year General categories will also be announced at that time.
