4 CSG Law Attorneys Named to 2026 NJBIZ Law Power list
Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is pleased to announce that Francis J. Giantomasi, Co-Chair of the firm’s Executive Committee, Marie L. Mathews, Managing Member, Jennifer M. Porter, Practice Group Leader of the Redevelopment, Land Use & Zoning Group, and Dennis Toft, Chair of the Environmental Law Group, were named to NJBIZ’s 2026 Law Power list, which recognizes New Jersey’s most influential attorneys in private practice, public service, corporate law departments and nonprofit organizations.
Frank Giantomasi has been a pillar among the NJBIZ Law Power list for more than five years, and he was once again recognized in this year’s NJBIZ Power 100 list. This is the fourth appearance in NJBIZ’s Law Power list for Dennis Toft, the second time for Marie Mathews, and the first time Jennifer Porter was named to the list. Marie was also named to NJBIZ’s Power 100 list earlier this year for the second time.
This year’s Law Power list highlighted the honorees’ most notable accomplishments.
“My proudest professional achievement has been the successful integration of the various, disparate governmental entities to enable the acquisition and development of Netflix studios in Monmouth County,” Frank said.
For Marie, it was being “named managing member of CSG Law after rising through the ranks of the firm as an associate.”
“After eight years at a Big Law firm, I returned to my home state in 2011 and joined the firm as an associate,” she said. “To be promoted to member in 2016 and then selected by my partners to manage the firm in 2025 was a particularly proud achievement for me because of the message that it sends to young associates at the firm.”
Jennifer Porter said building a successful regional land use and zoning practice spanning multiple jurisdictions was her proudest professional achievement.
“While the work can be challenging, it is incredibly rewarding to guide projects through diverse regulatory environments across different communities and states,” she said. “I especially enjoy partnering with clients who are expanding their geographic footprint, helping them navigate complex local approval processes and bring their growth strategies to fruition.”
For Dennis, it was his role “in helping to shape the development of New Jersey environmental law over the last 40 years and seeing how it has impacted many of our clients’ projects.”
“I was involved in the enactment of the Brownfields Law and in both iterations of the Site Remediation Reform Act (which created the LSRP Program) and these statutes have greatly improved the process of remediation in New Jersey and facilitated contaminated property transactions,” he said.
The Power lists, compiled by the NJBIZ editorial staff, are based on reporting throughout the past year with input from experts in a variety of fields and recommendations from readers. The lists include people who have gained public attention for their professional accomplishments and public service.
