CSG Launches Food & Beverage Practice
August 24, 2017
CSG today announced the formation and launch of its Food & Beverage Group, which will provide counsel to companies operating within this fast-growing industry.
CSG attorneys have a long record of success representing clients across all areas of the food and beverage industry, and are noted for their comprehensive understanding of the sector’s various regulations and issues. The newly-formed group is comprised of CSG attorneys with extensive industry experience in a wide array of related practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, employment, product liability, real estate, liquor licensing and environmental law.
“In today’s market, food and beverage companies have more legal needs than ever,” explains Edward Stevenson, a member of the group and co-chair of CSG’s Corporate & Securities Group. “Whether navigating a complex merger or trademarking a menu, our clients have access to a diverse range of legal resources tailored specifically to the complexities of their industry.”
The group’s extensive client roster ranges from manufacturers, processors, importers and distributors to restaurants, bars and retail liquor.
The launch of the Food & Beverage practice marks the latest in a series of recent industry-specific additions to CSG’s scope of services, including the formation of an Equipment Leasing Group in 2016 and a Hedge Fund Group earlier this year.
