Patent Litigation Associate Opportunity
We are Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG Law”); a nationally recognized regional law firm rooted in excellence, teamwork, and inclusion. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to bring onboard an additional Patent Litigation Associate in our New York office, creating opportunity to work alongside colleagues engaged in a full spectrum of litigation matters.
Our Patent Litigation team handles patent cases exclusively. Our team has technical backgrounds in chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, aerospace, biochemistry, biology and pharmaceutical sciences. With an extensive understanding of the law and science, our patent litigators devise effective litigation strategies and deliver clear and compelling arguments to courts and juries.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who is ready to jump in and brings to the table 4-6 years of litigation experience supporting senior attorneys in all aspects of patent litigation. Experience with lifesciences – chemical, biochemical, biology and pharmaceutical sciences – is a plus. Strong writing and research skills, an ability to manage a large caseload and admission to the NY bar are required; USPTO attorney registration is preferred.
