Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG), a West Orange, New Jersey law firm has an immediate opening for an Office Services Associate. This position reports directly to the Office Services Supervisor. This position is full time Monday through Friday with the hour of 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

The Office Services Associate position is responsible for providing general clerical office support, including: copy, mail & facilities work. This position is 50% clerical, and 50% manual labor.

The duties include perform work in copy, mail, and facilities as required, and according to procedures; ensure that job tickets and logging of requests are properly competed; troubleshooting of basic equipment issues; escalate any major problems to contracted vendors for service; load copiers with various paper and toners, communicate with supervisor on job, or deadline requirements; must be comfortable, and able to speak on the telephone with employees and vendors; use equipment and supplies in a cost efficient manner; ability to work overtime as required; assist with office moves, including furniture and office equipment; and assist in setting up, and breaking down conference rooms, including special events, and multi-use space as required.

The job qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent; attention to detail; must have good organization skills; must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner; ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information; able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy; good problem solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level; good written communication skills; must work well in a team environment; ability to work in a fast paced environment; professional telephone demeanor; must be self-motivated with positive can do attitude; proven customer service skills are required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships; must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; and familiarity with and comfort using power drill and other small tools extremely helpful.
