Desktop Support Engineer

CSG has an immediate opening for a Desktop Support Engineer in the West Orange, NJ office.

Successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated, with experience in planning and deploying application upgrades and acting as Service Center third level support. In addition, the ability to multi-task and handle multiple issues and upgrades simultaneously with minimum supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade various applications.
  • Provide desktop computing customer service and support.
  • Handle all problems escalated from 1st and 2nd level Support and resolve all issues. As issues need to be escalated to Engineering, work with the team as well as the Vendor, to remediate all issues.
  • Configure and manage software Package Distribution via SCCM.
  • Create and maintain related documentation and knowledge base.
  • Coordinate and document the proper desktop build steps and procedures.
  • Make recommendations for desktop performance improvements.
  • Technical expertise on Desktop and Citrix Management and troubleshooting.
  • Review new software requests for installation, document application integration steps, track off-site packaging requests and plan deployment.
  • Deployment Management of software and end user devices.
  • Responsible for application upgrades and escalated trouble tickets.

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop PCs.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a support and application maintenance role.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Interested in learning new technologies with a readiness to participate in Infrastructure projects.
  • Displays flexibility and adaptability in the workplace.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 10 operating system and Application integration including Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft SCCM, basic TCP/IP networking experience desired
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional overtime.
  • A+, MCP, MCITP or similar certifications highly preferred.
  • Experience installing software, patches, updates on desktops & laptops.

Desktop Support Specialist

CSG has an immediate opening for a Desktop Support Specialist in the West Orange, NJ office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support for staff on Microsoft Windows, Office, and other software as well as supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
  • Participate in Help Desk operations to provide prompt and thorough support to staff and maintaining accurate and timely updates to Help Desk cases.
  • Conduct Active Directory administration tasks such as resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, and adding/removing group memberships.
  • Perform hardware maintenance on workstations, laptops, and other equipment including diagnosis, recommendation, repair, upgrade, and replacement as necessary.
  • Keep current on IT developments, recommending upgrades in hardware/software systems as appropriate.
  • Monitor and ensure installation of operating system updates and assigned software applications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of the IT systems and deployments.

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop PCs.
  • Ability to configure, install, troubleshoot, and maintain workstations, laptops, and tablet PCs.
  • Ability to setup and support Microsoft Windows, Office 2013 and higher and other office productivity software.
  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and Active Directory (users, groups, and computers) is a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to coordinate and communicate effectively as a member of the IT team.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to deal diplomatically with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Must have good verbal skills, be able to explain technical items to non-technical personnel.

Legal Assistant

CSG has an immediate opening for an experienced legal assistant in the West Orange, NJ office. The legal assistant will support attorneys in the Litigation department.

The assistant will provide administrative support, including preparing legal documents and correspondence, answering all incoming telephone calls, as well as standard administrative duties, including filing, document reproduction, opening new client/matters with conflict searches, maintaining client files, time entry using a computer based billing system, expense reimbursements, maintaining email and calendar and word processing.

Candidates must have solid organization skills, attention to detail, initiative, resourcefulness, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, the ability to manage confidential information with discretion, professional demeanor, and the capability to organize, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines. Requirement include: prior experience in a law firm; proficient in e-filing; excellent command of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel; Netdocuments or eDocs or similar document management experience; Rainmaker Platinum or similar billing software experience. NJ Notary is helpful but not required.

Office Services Associate

CSG has an immediate opening for an Office Services Associate. This position reports directly to the Office Services Supervisor. This position is full time Monday through Friday with the hour of 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

The Office Services Associate position is responsible for providing general clerical office support, including: copy, mail & facilities work. This position is 50% clerical, and 50% manual labor.

The duties include perform work in copy, mail, and facilities as required, and according to procedures; ensure that job tickets and logging of requests are properly competed; troubleshooting of basic equipment issues; escalate any major problems to contracted vendors for service; load copiers with various paper and toners, communicate with supervisor on job, or deadline requirements; must be comfortable, and able to speak on the telephone with employees and vendors; use equipment and supplies in a cost efficient manner; ability to work overtime as required; assist with office moves, including furniture and office equipment; and assist in setting up, and breaking down conference rooms, including special events, and multi-use space as required.

The job qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent; attention to detail; must have good organization skills; must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner; ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information; able to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy; good problem solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level; good written communication skills; must work well in a team environment; ability to work in a fast paced environment; professional telephone demeanor; must be self-motivated with positive can do attitude; proven customer service skills are required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships; must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; and familiarity with and comfort using power drill and other small tools extremely helpful.
