Facilities Associate Opportunity

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (“CSG Law”), a full-service regional law firm based in Roseland, NJ, has an opportunity for a Facilities Associate.  The Facilities Associate is a non-exempt position reporting directly to the Facilities Manager and working closely with other business departments within the firm.  This position is critical in fostering the welcoming culture of CSG and plays a crucial part in organizing and overseeing all activities to ensure an exceptional and seamless experience for our employees and guests.

The Facilities Associate job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Greeting guests and employees
  • Responding to telephone calls and emails
  • Acting in a professional manner at all times
  • Using the conference booking system
  • Liaising with suppliers and vendors
  • Restocking supplies and maintain inventory
  • Reporting breakages and maintenance issues
  • Preparing for events and meetings including order placement for food, moving of tables, and breakdown after conclusion of events
  • Maintaining, cleaning and organizing our cafes spaces, wellness rooms and conference rooms
  • Punctuality, flexibility and reliability
  • Advise management of any facilities needing repair or attention

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the position requires:

  • Standing for more than 20 minutes at any given time
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and headset to perform critical job functions
  • Ability to navigate our offices independently
  • Regularly bend, lift and reach up to 25 pounds

Work Environment

The work environment is a professional office setting with moderate background noise (including but not limited to conversations, phone calls, and event set up).
