Stephen J. McNamara

Stephen J. McNamara is an associate with the firm’s Family Law Group, whose practice focuses on a variety of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, post-judgment issues and domestic violence.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephen practiced with Budd Larner, P.C.’s Family Law Department. He also previously clerked for the Honorable Terry Paul Bottinelli of the Bergen County Superior Court’s Family Practice Division. Stephen was certified by the New Jersey Administrative Offices of the Courts as a court mediator and he conducted mediations in small claims, landlord-tenant and dissolution matters during his clerkship.

Stephen received his B.A. from the University of Maryland and J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law. While attending law school, Stephen participated in the Rutgers Law School Child Advocacy Clinic, where he handled child abuse and neglect cases involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
