Scott Hollander represents individual, government, and corporate clients in sensitive and high stakes matters. His practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation and e-discovery. Scott takes great pride in providing sound judgment and practical strategies to clients, guiding them through compliance, regulatory, litigation and corporate governance challenges.


Scott has conducted numerous domestic and international investigations for clients across the globe, and has represented clients before the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal, Civil and Tax divisions. He regularly advises clients with respect to the development of plans and policies, audit findings and investigating potential violations. He also represents clients facing government investigation or seeking to conduct internal investigations, advising corporations and financial institutions, including boards of directors and committees, in connection with corporate governance and compliance matters. He also has significant experience assisting companies in efficiently responding to subpoenas, thereby minimizing disruption to their critical business operations.

In litigation, Scott has substantial experience before various Federal District Courts and State Courts in New York and New Jersey. Scott regularly handles litigation ranging from bet-the-company business disputes, contentious probate cases and a diverse array of health care matters. Scott also has experience managing e-discovery from inception to completion, including drafting protocols, leading review teams, litigating ESI issues, and interfacing with clients, adversaries and regulators on critical e-discovery matters.

Scott was selected for inclusion in the 2015-2020 editions of New Jersey Super Lawyers-Rising Stars.

Scott joined the firm as an associate in 2010. Previously, he was a summer associate with the firm.

He received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was an associate notes editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. He graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan.
