Lauren Tabak Fass is a counsel in the firm’s Health Care and Hospital and Corporate and Securities Groups. Lauren has particular experience in the areas of health care and hospital law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
Lauren represents health care providers and suppliers including long term care providers, hospitals, medical supply, device and pharmaceutical companies in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures involving both asset and stock transactions. She also advises providers and lenders in various financing transactions including revolving loan, asset-based financing and HUD financing transactions. She has extensive experience managing the regulatory aspects involved in health care transactions ranging from single facility to multi-state, multi-facility deals. Lauren regularly counsels clients on regulatory, licensing, certificate of need, fraud and abuse, compliance, HIPAA/HITECH privacy and security, corporate practice, and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and reimbursement issues.
Lauren received her B.S.F.S. from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.
