Catherine Venable is an Associate with the firm’s Employment Law and Immigration Groups, with extensive experience dealing with both employment and family-based immigration. She has worked on a variety of employment-based petitions for individual clients and multi-national organizations, including nonimmigrant petitions (E, H, L, and O) and immigrant visa petitions, including both adjustments of status through employment and family-based categories as well as immigrant visa applications at U.S. Embassies abroad.
As part of the Employment Law Group, Catherine assists clients in complying with federal, state, and local employment law, including drafting employee handbooks, non-compete agreements, and severance agreements. Notably, Catherine participates in defense of clients against claims of discrimination and harassment.
Catherine received her J.D. from New York Law School, where she participated in the Immigration Law Students Association as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She earned her B.A. in Global Liberal Studies from New York University.
