Internal Investigations: Part Three of a Four-Part Complimentary CLE Series

Recognizing that in-house attorneys face a unique set of issues and challenges in the practice of law, Wolff & Samson has developed a complimentary CLE series designed to specifically address the ethical considerations of general counsel and other in-house attorneys.

We are pleased to invite you to Part III of this series: "Internal Investigations"

Topics to be covered include:

•Deciding when to commence an internal investigation
•Use of inside or outside counsel
•Conducting witness interviews
•Protecting confidentiality and privilege
•Cooperation and disclosure to the government, including waiver of privilege
•Treatment of employees, hiring of independent counsel and indemnification

Discussing the ethical considerations of the above topics will be a panel including:

This program has been approved by the Board of Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.2 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.2 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism and 0 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial, criminal trial law, workers compensation law and/or matrimonial law.

This program has been approved by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 1 hour of ethics CLE credit. This course is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
