Wolff & Samson Announces Attorney Promotions
January 2, 2014
Wolff & Samson PC takes great pleasure in announcing the promotion of two of the firm's attorneys. They are:
Todd W. Terhune | Member of the Firm | Environmental and Real Estate, Development and Land Use Groups
Todd Terhune has been promoted from counsel to member of the firm. Practicing in Wolff & Samson's Environmental and Real Estate, Development and Land Use Groups, Todd advises clients on a wide range of environmental transactional and regulatory compliance matters that arise in connection with real estate and business transactions, or as a result of regulatory action. Specifically, Todd's practice focuses on brownfield development projects, environmental due diligence, site remediation, ISRA compliance and environmental permitting. He appears regularly before the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. With more than two decades of practicing exclusively in the environmental field – initially as a licensed professional engineer and currently as an attorney – Todd brings a practical, business-oriented approach to solving environmental problems faced by industry and commercial and industrial real estate developers and owners.
Melissa A. Salimbene | Counsel | Litigation, Employment and Intellectual Property Groups
Melissa Salimbene has been promoted from associate to counsel. Melissa, a commercial litigator at Wolff & Samson, is experienced in handling all aspects of complex business and commercial matters. She regularly represents clients in areas including commercial matters, employment litigation and intellectual property disputes. Melissa has successfully litigated a wide range of matters including: partnership and shareholder disputes; various contract related claims; trust and estate disputes; trademark, trade dress and copyright infringement matters; and restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation. Melissa also frequently represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
"We are extremely proud of Todd's and Melissa's accomplishments, and we are pleased to announce their well-deserved promotions," said David Schlossberg, managing director at Wolff & Samson. "Todd and Melissa represent not just an important cross-section of Wolff & Samson's practice areas, but also the commitment to client service that is at the very core of our firm."
