Naughton Joins Wolff & Samson as Co-Chair of Environmental Group

Wolff & Samson PC is pleased to announce that Michael J. Naughton, formerly a partner at Wilson Elser, has joined the firm as a member and will serve as co-chair of Wolff & Samson’s Environmental Group.

Mr. Naughton is a seasoned environmental litigator with 30 years of experience. His practice focuses on environmental and energy issues, including regulatory compliance, Brownfield cleanups and redevelopment of contaminated properties. Mr. Naughton also has substantial experience providing environmental counseling to commercial property owners, buyers, landlords and tenants in real estate transactions. He serves as a Special Environmental Mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey and previously served as a Director of the Environmental Law Section for the New Jersey State Bar.

As co-chair of Wolff & Samson’s Environmental Group, Mr. Naughton will work to grow and support one of the most highly regarded environmental practices in New Jersey.

Mr. Naughton is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and as Special Environmental Mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey

He received his B.A. from Seton Hall University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
